Class Booster
Groups were created to fundraise money for senior year activities. Each year the PTO hosts a large gala to fundraise money for a Safe and Sober Grad Night for graduating seniors of SMHS. This fundraiser is totally dependent on volunteers willing to give their time and effort to make the event a success. To lighten the burden on the PTO, class booster groups were formed to start saving money for the senior year events. Each booster group is self determined and has a separate account within the Valley of Discovery Educational Foundation.

The Class 2009 Booster Group hosts a magician/hypnotist show each year and also coodinates the Finals Survival Kits offered to the students during final exams each semester.

The Class 2008 Booster Group will be doing a letter writing campaign to local sponsors to help in the final stages of the senior year.
