The 2007 Gala Dinner Dance and Auction was held on Friday night, April 27th. The sold out crowd filled the beautiful Lake San Marcos Golf Course event room. After a successful silent auction, the guests were treated to a lovely Italian sit down dinner. A highlight of the evening was the dessert rush, which brought in $2500 more funding for the high school. After dinner and dessert was the live auction which was lively and fast paced. There was a demonstration of the Smart Boards slated to be purchased by the high school. The band started up soon after, with everyone staying and dancing until midnight. The event ended up raising more than $40,000 for the high school and organizations that supported the event.
